Customs / Design TOS

This TOS page applies to my adoptables, customs, or any other way where you get a character design from me.

✦ General:

- Please don't remove my credit, whether it's the toyhouse credit or my own artist watermark. If you repost my art elsewhere, please credit me via mentioning Schellis or Dragon_Schellis, or a link to My Site.
- Please let me know if you plan to delete a character I designed off ToyHouse. I'm not going to stop you, I just want to know so I can keep track of all my designs.
- Payment will be through Paypal Invoices or Cashapp.

✦ Ownership and Use:

- My designs are for personal use only. (You can use your design as a profile picture/banner on social media, you can print it out for personal display, you may use the design to promote yourself without selling the artwork itself, or other personal purposes.)
- You're free to change the design, but don't alter my artwork drastically (hue changes & small edits are fine). If it becomes super different, please use your own art or someone else's artwork that you get permission to use.
- I do not allow my work to be used for AI purposes or NFTs.
- When design ownership is transferred from me to you, I have the right to show the design in my portfolio, galleries, or to advertise/market my work.
- Most importantly & in general: Please be fair to anyone you're trading and/or selling with. That is, don't sell my design for a lot more than you got it for.

✦ Adoptable Process:

- Adoptables can be claimed by either replying to the post of where you find one of my designs or by directly messaging me on the website it's being hosted on.
- Adopts are claimed on a first come first served basis, so I will try my best to respond to everyone who is interested and make sure everyone knows about the current status of the adopt.
- If the adopt is available, I'll confirm by responding to you and we can discuss payment information privately.
- The full res png will be emailed to you upon payment, and if you are on Toyhouse, I will transfer the character ownership to you as well.

✦ Custom Process:

- The customs process will work similarly to my commissions process, where you give me some kind of reference to create a character from. Reference material includes moodboards, simple text descriptions, an aesthetic, etc. The following design that you get will be up to my discretion.
- You, as the client, will not be able to point me towards a very specific spot that you want your design to end up. At most, I can try to go in the direction you'd like the design to be, but I will not be able to do every small detail you have envisioned. If this is the case, you can get a more specific description of the character as a whole and commission me instead of buying a custom.
- You will be sent one sketch to look over before the process continues in order to decide if you like the direction I'm going in, or if you want to try something else. Any rejected designs by the client will be kept by myself, the artist.
